Vice commander receives first star

On June 8, Brig. Gen. James R. “Cliffy” Cluff, vice commander, 25th Air Force, accepts his general officer flag from Gen. Tod D. Wolters, commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, U.S. Air Forces Africa and Allied Air Command; and director, Joint Air Power Competence Centre, after his promotion. Cluff is responsible to the 25th Air Force commander for providing multisource Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance products, applications, capabilities and resources; electronic warfare; and integrating cyber ISR forces and expertise.
